Support and account recovery

How to reach us
Use the Register interest form on chai-systems.dev: give the name and email address you registered with and say what you need. Every entry is read by the founder. There is no phone line, no chat and no published mailbox yet — an address on a page is harvested by bots within days — and a dedicated support channel will follow with the first product.
We aim to answer within two business days (Monday to Friday, South African time). Requests about your personal information (access, correction, deletion) are answered within 30 days at the latest, as the law requires, and usually much sooner.
What to include
- What you were trying to do and what happened instead.
- The email address you registered with, if the request is about your registration.
- For a feedback note you sent, the date and the page it was about.
Please do not send passwords, card numbers or other people's details.
Account recovery, when accounts exist
If you lose access to your account, tell us through the form, giving the email address on the account if you can, or any address you can be reached at if you cannot. We will confirm you are the account holder by asking about details only the holder would know, never by asking for your password. We will not restore access on the strength of an email alone.
If you believe someone else has used your account, tell us at once and we will suspend it while we look.
Deleting your information
Ask, and we delete your registration, your notes and, when they exist, your account and its data, within 30 days. Backups that contain the data expire on their own schedule (14 days on the server; the copies in Ireland cannot be deleted for 90 days and are removed after 120) and are not restored except to recover from a failure. Deleting your data explains it for each place we hold your information.
