CHAI Systems · Terms of service
Terms of service
Approved by the founder on 2026-09-04; in force from publication. A formal legal review follows before the production launch.
These are the terms on which CHAI Systems offers its website and, when they exist, its products. By using the site or registering interest you agree to them. They are meant to be fair and to be understood in one reading.
What we offer today
A website, an early-access register and a feedback form. Nothing is for sale yet. Registering interest does not create an account, does not cost anything, and does not promise you access. When early access opens, you will hear from us first, and you can decline.
Accounts, when they exist
When sign-in exists, you will be asked to accept these terms again before creating an account. You will be responsible for keeping your sign-in details private and for what is done through your account. We may suspend or close an account that is used to break these terms or the law.
Using the site
Do not use the site to send abusive, unlawful or misleading content, to attack or overload it, or to collect other people's information. Automated access beyond ordinary browsing is not allowed without our written agreement.
Your content
Anything you send us, such as a feedback note or the line you wrote when registering, remains yours. You allow us to read it, keep it as described in the Privacy Notice, and use it to improve what we build. Do not include other people's personal details in it.
Our content
The site, its design, text and software belong to CHAI Systems or its licensors. You may read and share links to it. You may not copy, sell or present it as your own.
What we do not promise
The site and any early-access product are provided as they are, while they are being built. We do not promise they will be available at any time, free of errors, or fit for a particular purpose. To the extent the law allows, CHAI Systems is not liable for loss or damage arising from your use of the site or an early-access product, other than loss caused by our fraud or gross negligence, or liability the law does not allow us to exclude. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer under South African law or the law of the country you live in.
Ending things
You can stop using the site at any time and ask us to delete your information (see the Privacy Notice). We can withdraw the site or an early-access product at any time; if we do, we will tell registered people and give them a way to take their information with them.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. We would rather resolve any disagreement by talking; reach us through the form named below first. If that fails, the courts of South Africa have jurisdiction, without taking away consumer protections that apply where you live.
Changes
If these terms change, the date at the top changes with it, and anyone with an account will be asked to accept the new terms before continuing.
Contact
Use the Register interest form on chai-systems.dev and say what you need. We do not publish a mailbox address (see the Privacy Notice's Contact section for why); a dedicated support channel will follow with the first product.
